ABOUT THE AUTHOR
JOHN C. CRONIN
AUTHOR • POET • LYRICIST
John C. Cronin is the author and lyricist behind SUCK: The Vampiric Burlesque at its Blood-Sucking Best.
His work brings together storytelling, poetry, lyrics, music, historical characters, humor, and theatrical imagination to create a world designed to be experienced in more than one way.
SUCK brings together vampires, historical eras, unforgettable characters, music, costumes, lyrics, and theatrical storytelling.
The idea was to create something that could live somewhere between a musical, a script, and an illustrated story — giving each character a voice, a look, a history, and a song.
FROM PAGE TO STAGE
The book and recordings are only the beginning.
The bigger vision for SUCK is a full theatrical production where the characters step out of the illustrations and onto the stage — surrounded by live musicians, costumes, dramatic sets, theatrical lighting, props, choreography, and an audience ready to play along.
